The primary focus of our company is advocating for communication-vulnerable patient (those patients unable to establish or maintain effective communication without assistance).  We firmly believe it is the patient’s absolute right to communicate; so we provide a research based product that allows the patient to communicate effectively when unable to speak or write legibly.  We are also working closely with the Joint Commission and the State of California Department of Public Health to raise the standard of care with respect to patient communication.  Vidatak, LLC provides communications boards, designed by research from UCLA Medical Center, to over 2,500 hospitals and VA’s throughout the United States to assist communication-vulnerable patients to establish and maintain communication with care givers and family members.  It is also recommended for use with non English speaking patients as means for translation needs, as the EZ Board now comes in a bilingual format in 17 different languages.
